The Management

The community-based Mosque is managed by reputable individuals, community leaders and professionals who are there to serve the Ummah. The Mosque organizational structure is made up of:

  1. Board of Trustees (BOT): has the legal responsibility for achieving the overall purpose and direction, effectiveness, supervision and accountability. The Board is chaired by Alh. Salmanu Abdullahi, Dan Ruwatan Zazzau.
  2. Central Executive Committee (CEC): The Executive Committee has the legal responsibility for managing the day-to-day activities of running the Mosque, for stewardship of 4years tenure, on behalf of the Board of Trustees.

Administration and Management

Harakatu Falahil Islam Masjid operates as a faith-based Non-governmental organization for the following religious, spiritual and temporal functions/activities:

  • Offering both regular Islamic and conventional education including Tahfeez and special adult classes for Arabic and Islamic Education.
  • Conducting five daily prayers including Jumu’at prayers on Fridays, Tahajjud and Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan and Eid prayers.
  • Public Preaching, regular Teaching between Maghrib and Isha’i (Ta’limat, Muhadarat, Musabaqat, Halaqat).
  • Annual Ramadan Tafsir and lectures (different sessions for both males and females).
  • Serving as a centre for spiritual and temporal unity for Islamic propagation.
  • Offering Janaza services such as corpse washing, kafan and funeral prayers.
  • Ambulance Services
  • Offering Fatawah services.
  • Activities of First Aid Groups.
  • Conducting marriage ceremonies
  • Periodic Seminars, Workshops, Training, Meetings e.t.c
